Fresh from a Glastonbury performance that garnered rave reviews with The Telegraph describing their performance as, ‘sassy and soulful Haim need a place on Glastonbury’s main stage’, HAIM have announced their support as alluring ex-Perth by way of New York musician Cameron Avery. Audiences will know Cameron Avery as a rock band veteran with POND, Allbrook/Avery, The Growl and Tame Impala, but his solo sound is something different altogether, moving towards nostalgic ballads like‘Wasted on Fidelity’, which Tone Deaf recently described as ‘a dark, dramatic affair, landing somewhere between fellow Perth band The Triffids, and Rowland S Howard’. Cameron will be bringing this sonic shift to seduce audiences with HAIM on their sold out and only Australian side show in Sydney.
