The world’s leading disco house artist Purple Disco Machine shares striking music video to accompany his current anthem, ‘Devil In Me’ Feat. Joe Killington & Duane Harden – out now via Australian tastemaker label, Sweat It Out.
‘Devil In Me’ is the first official single to be taken from the talented German’s forthcoming debut LP, ‘Soulmatic’, and features; a tight sun-kissed house groove, a familiar sounding funk-driven guitar sample and a catchy vocal co written by Duane Harden (from Armand Van Helden’s 1999 club classic, ‘You Don’t Know Me’) and sung by Joe Killington.
Since its recent release, the track has been causing a real stir within the house music scene, garnering huge support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Monki plus securing #2 on Beatport’s house music chart.
Now the time has come for some engaging visuals to be put to the music. This comes in the form of a high-quality video that was filmed in Berlin and directed, produced and edited by Joseph Wright (Armada Music, Smirnoff, Red Bull Studios London) for Grin and Bear Films.

Wright explains: “The track is infectious and the line ‘Devil in me’ kept bringing me to the idea of someone so overwhelmed by the music that they release their inner self, who they actually want to be, this juxtaposed with an idea of a charlatan preacher gave us a strong visual to portray.”
In addition to the single, Purple Disco Machine is also celebrating his award nomination for ‘Best House Act’ by Ibiza’s prestigious DJ Awards. Ranking as the #18 artist in Beatport’s all-time Top 100 the accolades keep stacking up. With a colossal remix resume including; Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Claptone, Faithless, New Order, Two Door Cinema Club, Shapeshifters and Sigma, it’s time for Purple Disco Machine to take centre stage for a full-length debut worth waiting for.
