Four Tone Artists (FTA) a new boutique entertainment booking agency has launched in Australia providing comprehensive booking services to artists, covering live venues, festivals and corporate events throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Based in Sydney, Four Tone is an artist-focused agency, creating a culture that nurtures early artist development and taking a creative approach on live touring strategy and long term career development. Adam Montgomery and Josh Lane will head the agency.
Adam Montgomery has always been deeply immersed in music and commenced his career as bass guitarist with the band Calling All Cars spending seven years touring Australia and internationally. Cutting his teeth in the world of live music and learning all aspects of the industry, he shifted focus and moved into booking at 123 Agency after the group disbanded.
Says Montgomery, “It’s an exciting moment for live music right now. At a time when the eyes of the world are on Australian music, there are more opportunities for artists than ever. We couldn’t be happier to be working with a talented roster of world class acts to help realise their vision.”
Josh Lane also spent several years successfully touring Australia’s clubs, pubs and festivals with the band Lurch & Chief previously having also worked in venue bookings and music media. Lane worked as an agent with the Mushroom Group for before joining 123 Agency in 2015 where he represented a diverse roster of nationally touring acts.
“It’s an honour to be representing such an incredible roster of acts from around the country,” says Lane. “These artists are focused on becoming career musicians, and the launch of Four Tone Artists allows us to help make that happen in some interesting and creative ways.”
Four Tone Artists launch with an exciting roster of Australia’s best up and coming and established acts that include A. Swayze & The Ghosts, Bec Sandridge, Darcy Baylis, Didirri, Dorsal Fins, Gabriella Cohen, Gold Class, Good Doogs, The Gooch Palms, Greta Stanley, Harts, IV League, Kat Edwards, Keelan Mak, LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Mia Dyson, RAT!hammock, Slowly Slowly and The Southern River Band.
