It’s that time again! On the Seventh of every month since February, the crew at Mitchell Creek have been announcing seven artists at a time. This is the second last announcement, with the full line up to be revealed on the 7th of July!.
Added to the bill this month are:
Stella Angelico with Cookin’ On 3 Burners, Hussy Hicks, River City Aces, Uncle Bob’s Jug Band, Pepper Jane, Illicit Symphony and Annie J and The Fusion.

Renee Geyer, Ross Wilson, Matt Taylor and The Black Cat Bone, The Backsliders, Jesse Redwing, Gerry Joe Weise, The Fumes, Brew’n The Blues, Urban Chiefs, Team Utopia, The Hootchers, Kniki and the Beale, Swamp Stompers, Cass Eager and the Velvet Rope, Justin Yap band, Geoff Achison and the Soul Diggers, Fiona O’Shea and the Passengers, Salt and Steel, That Red Head, Little Billy, BB Factory, Nicole Parker Brown and The Late Late Show, The Soul Men, a Blues Brothers Smoke Stack Rhino, Minnie Marks, Swamp Thing and Sunset Junkies
This announcement not only lists another seven acts, it’s also announcing another event presented by Mitchell Creek Touring, to be held on the Seventh of the Seventh following in the Hootchie Cootchie Man theme of this years event. Brew’n The Blues and The Amanda Emblem Experiment are both launching their debut albums, and will be joined by the Legendary Matt Taylor (Chain) and his all star band The Black Cat Bone and Mojo Webbst at the D’Aguilar Hotel on 7 July. Tickets are $10/$35 dinner/show. There’s free camping and an awesome Argentinean Parilla Cook Up. Table bookings are essential (07 54964533) and entertainment starts at 4pm. On the night, organiser Jimmy Budgen will announce the last seven acts, the details for the VIP Party on (September 8) plus give-away a double VIP pass to the Festival.

Over 150 musicians will take part in what has become a pilgrimage for music lovers all over Australian and New Zealand, who vow to return year after year to experience three unforgettable days of music, camping and multi-cultural foods and market stalls on 100 acres of breathtaking views, surrounded by untouched mountains in the beautiful Mary Valley in the Noosa Hinterland.
Each year the festival site becomes a mini township, fully equipped with arts and crafts, fashion, a myriad of cuisines to suit all tastes, a licensed bar, a secure kids area, bush volleyball and even a resident artist. (Brian Tisdale who is responsible for the awesome events posters).
