Off the back of their single tour in collaboration with AM/PM, Between You & Me are proud to announce a run of headline dates around Japan & Australia in celebration of their debut release ‘Everything Is Temporary.’

This comes as the band’s first overseas tour announcement and they couldn’t be more excited.Joining them once again on this Australian leg will be Sydney’s finest Yours Truly as well as Melbourne’s Turn South.

“We are super thrilled to be playing a few shows in Japan on this album tour. For us, being able to play music internationally has always been a dream of ours and for that to begin in the beautiful country that is Japan is unbelievable. Some of us have never even been overseas so we are extremely excited!” explains guitarist Jai Gibson.

“The AM//PM tour for us was truly mind-blowing! I think it was the first time we’ve realised that people genuinely enjoy what we’re about – that was incredibly humbling. The tour was made even more exciting by having the talented Yours Truly play before us each night. They are great bunch of people with an exciting future and we absolutely loved having them on tour. We have decided that we want them back! We’re thrilled that Yours Truly will be joining us for the full Australian leg of the tour.” says guitarist Jai Gibson.

The tour will allow the band to show a more personal side of them, showcasing an album that explores the concepts of loss, heartache, triumph and friendships and has been met by strong critical response globally including support from Kerrang, Rock Sound and Alt Press being described as “ten emotionally charged tracks delivered with a pop-punk gusto; everything seems fine on the surface but upon closer listening, the hard hitting lyricism is sure to resonate and leave a sting with its honesty”.

Despite that the band remains firmly focused on what is in front of them;

“The whole record is summed up by the line ‘Everything Is Temporary.’” Lead singer Jake Wilson explains “In fact, it’s the last line of the entire album. It’s a philosophy about accepting the good and the bad and rolling with the punches. About making sure you take all the good stuff and run with it, because it won’t last forever—and neither will the bad.”
