INDUSTRY PRAISE

“Australia is a true hub for garage rock and Spacey Jane are a prime example that there is something in the water here.. Infectious roars opened up the Mix Up tent for a quick mosh before “Keep A Clean Nose” blew our haircut off”
The Music (Splendour in the Grass review)

“Every time it comes on, I helplessly fall in love with it even more”
5 stars, Claire Mooney, triple j Unearthed (“Good Grief”)

“I logged on specifically to write this review. This may be one of my favourite tracks of the year”
5 stars, Jess Perkins, triple j (“Good Grief”)

“That voice does it for me. But to be fair, so does the whole song”
4.5 stars,  Richard Kingsmill, triple j (“Good Grief”)

“Very much a band to watch, if you’re not watching already”
Pilerats

“Spacey Jane supply a waterfall of energy matched with storytelling through lyricism beyond their age. I get lost in the riffs, bass lines and frontman Caleb’s vocals”
Xpress Magazine

“Yet another slice of feel good, indie pop perfection”
Happy Magazine (“Cold Feet”)

Having just finished an entirely sold out lap of Australia, WA’s indie-rock darlings Spacey Jane are embarking on another huge tour without a moments’ hesitation. In support of their yet-to-be-released single “Head Cold”, they’ll be playing some of their biggest headline shows to date in Australia.

Strike while the iron is hot, they reckon, and right now it’s absolutely scorching. The last six months alone has seen the group net significant triple j airplay and quickly become a festival favourite. This year, they’ve played Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, BIGSOUND and Wave Rock Weekender and have been recently announced on Yours & Owls and Laneway 2020. It’s clear things are looking up for Spacey Jane.

Joining them at most shows will be highly esteemed SASAMI (US) – a recent Domino signee and certified legendary figure in the Los Angeles music scene, and Newcastle slacker-rock heroes VACATIONS.

Recorded with Dave Parkin at Blackbird Studios and due for release this November, “Head Cold” serves as another taste test of Spacey Jane’s debut studio record, out sometime in 2020.

Until then, you can listen to their slew of quality tunes here.
