Have you always wanted to be a musician? When did you get the song writing bug?
My father got me into music when I was young, where I started to play the trumpet, followed by the bass guitar, so you could say I got the bug pretty young.

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
I have been making a lot of vocal records, really focusing on the songwriting and playing real instruments, but will also be bringing out some harder club tunes in the new year, which I am super excited about. I love playing tech house and Brazilian bass with a hint of techno to keep it driving. Fans enjoy how I play because it’s always different, giving a fresh sound in my production and when I DJ.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
Playing with Avicii was definitely one of the most cherished moments of my career. It’s not often you get to meet your idols, let alone share the stage with them, getting to witness greatness first-hand. I will hold on to moments like this forever.

Your new single ‘Love Myself’ and its remix pack has just been released! Describe its origin and evolution.
Love Myself has been a long time coming, working with the amazing vocalist Jay Mason. The guitar riff came first, then we built it around that. The remixes also just added so much to this release; I couldn’t be happier with it.

Is there an EP or Album on the drawing board?
I am currently signed with Warner Music and have my next release scheduled for January!

Any tours or events coming up soon? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I am currently making the move to the USA so look out for dates this way soon!

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
I’d love to collaborate and perform with Central Cee, he’s always killing it and could do some dope stuff for sure!

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
I want to be touring globally 300 days a year, play Tomorrowland and EDC mainstage and get a billion streams/platinum on one of my records. Getting there, slowly, but getting there ;)

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
Get as good as you can in your craft, then get yourself out there and start meeting the people in your scene. And when you get given a chance and get a foot in the door, be ready to kick that door down and kill it!

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
The feeling you get playing to a great live audience is like nothing else in the world. Throughout two summers at Paradise Club in Mykonos, I played with nearly every DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100, from Avicii to Afrojack, to Martin Garrix, and even Snoop Dogg! My time there was amazing, and I grew and learned so much, also making so many great friends throughout the couple of seasons I played there, and this really set the pace for my career.
