Tickets for a day on the green’s Mt Cotton concert with JOHN FARNHAM have now sold out with more than 12,000 fans set to attend on December 2.
John is really looking forward to returning to Sirromet Wines, in what will be the 40th a day on the green there since 2006.
Speaking to News Corp’s national music writer Cameron Adams he said: “I get a bit more gregarious when I’m working outside. It’s a whole different feel; I jump up and down like a 20-year-old.”
JOHN FARNHAM will perform songs from Whispering Jack plus a selection of greatest hits for this special series of a day on the green concerts. He will be joined by a stellar cast of guests – DARYL BRAITHWAITE, RICHARD MARX, RUSSELL MORRIS and BACHELOR GIRL.
It’s been a similar story in Victoria and New South Wales, with tickets selling out at Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley and Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley, with a second Victorian show on Sunday December 9 nearly sold out – a result that reinforces a day on the green’s position as one of Australia’s most popular outdoor concert events.
