AM//PM Announces May Lineup Led By Heavyweights GRAVES
Fresh from a fortnight of back-to-back emo nights packed to capacity, party purveyors AM//PM are stoked to unveil the details of their next event taking over The Burdekin on May 27. Gear up for seven hours of emo classics and party anthems, with a belting band lineup led by Wollongong heavyweights Graves.
Relive the golden era of Sydney’s party scene with a carefully curated soundtrack of your melancholic youth, with DJs spinning the likes of Brand New, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, The Killers + more across three levels. Leading band room duties are mosh lords Graves who will perform off the back of a national regional tour with Northlane for a one-off intimate club show, joined by Sydney metalcore outfits Trojans and Divinate on support.
Tickets are $15+BF and on sale now via Oztix. Watch the AM//PM launch video here.
Drink specials on the night include $6 Coors beers and $7 Sparkke brews, the latter a nod to AM//PM’s ongoing efforts to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive club night, and highlighting their support of gender equality and the importance of sexual consent. The AM//PM crew have also partnered up with Unify Presents to giveaway double passes to The Amity Affliction’s upcoming show at Hordern Pavilion.
AM//PM is the brainchild of The Neighbourhood – Toby ‘Norman’ Bramley, Dawson Michaels and Thomas Milgate – three passionate promoters who have worked across live music events, weekly club nights and festival afterparties over the last decade to bring Sydney some of the cities most infamous parties, the world’s best-loved bands and countless unforgettable guest DJ sets. After two huge launch events in April, AM//PM will return each month to celebrate the music they love, and the music you grew up with – guyliner and scene queen haircuts optional. Emo forever!
