What last year’s delegates are saying about AMW
“I attended Australia Music Week and it was fantastic. Geoff and his team have created an essential event to bring together fantastic talent to perform and expert music industry professionals to share their knowledge. Its about creating a community of music loving individuals to support artists of all genres and to learn from each other to navigate the ever changing music business landscape. I can’t wait to attend again!”

“Australian Music Week 2016 was an incredibly rewarding experience for me personally and for Footstomp Music. Combining great music with the Ocean couldn’t work better for me and I will be a regular attendee from here on in.”
Graham Ashton
Director – Footstomp Music
“On behalf of the East Coast Music Association based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (ECMA), I’d like to thank you for delivering a highly successful 2nd Annual Australian Music Week (AMW), November 2-6 at Cronulla Beach, 2016.
The ECMA is a founding supporter of (the) event and encourages its continuing growth and development. It has proved to provide lucrative opportunities for ECMA artists in the Australian market. At the same time, we have established a successful reciprocal exchange (AUSCAN) to open new opportunities for Australian acts in the Canadian market. Last year, the ECMA led a Canadian collective that saw 6 Canadian acts showcase at AMW, accompanied by key industry professionals. While the results are still being collated, it is expected that many new opportunities were generated for Canadian artists.
Two Australian artists will be showcasing at the 2017 ECMAs in Saint John, New Brunswick April 26-30 and we are looking forward to continuing this mutually beneficial exchange program with AMW 2017. I look forward to attending AMW 2017.”

Executive Director, East Coast Music Association
“This was the first time BreakOut West had representation at Australian Music week including performing artists, and it will not be the last. The event was incredibly well organised and conducive to making connections and getting work done for our artists. We continue to see results from the opportunities our artists including performance bookings, management work and etc., and plan to return.”
