At an exclusive launch event in Sydney this evening, the full artist lineup for the 2019 instalment of Australia’s premier country and roots festival, CMC ROCKS QLD, has been revealed.

The event will once again take place across four days, kicking off proceedings exclusively for campers on Thursday 14th March, and continuing across three jam-packed days. With an A-List lineup featuring 19 international and 7 huge local acts, CMC Rocks QLD 2019 will once again deliver the hottest country artists from Australia and around the world to country music lovers.

Leading the charge are global superstars FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, who return to Australia with a swag of chart-topping hits, including ‘Meant To Be’ with Bebe Rexha, ‘God, Your Mama, And Me’ featuring Backstreet Boys, ‘H.O.L.Y’, ‘Simple’ and more. After dominating their Rocks debut in 2016, the duo will up the ante when they hit the stage three years on. They’ve sold out stadiums across North America, chalked up countless Billboard, CMT, ACM, CMA and American Music Awards, and were the first ever country act to achieve Diamond certification, with best-selling song ‘Cruise’ spending an epic 24 weeks at No.1.

In a huge coup, and making his debut Australian appearance, is one of the country’s hottest stars THOMAS RHETT. The platinum-selling chart-topper has 8 No.1 US country hits to his name, with an eclectic catalogue that blends the southern swagger of country music with pop hooks, R&B grooves, soulful strut and the anything-goes attitude of rock. Rhett’s poignant hit single, ‘Die A Happy Man’, scooped up a Grammy nomination and won him trophies for Billboard’s Top Country Song and CMA Song of the Year, and with his stellar album Life Changes, Rhett is proving why he’s one the most exciting artists on the global music stage.

Due to popular demand, and returning for his second consecutive CMC Rocks appearance, is the electrifying LUKE COMBS. Combs has enjoyed a stellar 2018 after setting stages alight on his debut Australian dates earlier this year; his debut record This One’s For You entered the ARIA Album Chart at No.7, topping the ARIA Country Chart, and is the highest-selling country album in Australia so far this year.

Local hit-makers and much-loved festival alumni, KASEY CHAMBERS and TROY CASSAR-DALEY, lead the local roster for 2019. With musical DNA pumping through her veins, Kasey Chambers is one of Australia’s most prolific singer-songwriters and revered live performers. Since 1999’s The Captain, Chambers has released 12 award-winning albums, this year’s Campfire inviting fans to join her as she shares the captivating songs and stories that have inspired her unique musical journey.

With a songbook spanning three decades, Troy Cassar-Daley will return to Rocks with a 42-track greatest Hits album under his belt, showcasing modern Aussie anthems like ‘Born To Survive’, ‘Dream Out Loud’ and ‘They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That Anymore’. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter has scooped up 4 ARIA Awards, 31 No.1 singles, and a whopping 36 Golden Guitars.

Joining Florida Georgia Line (USA), Thomas Rhett (USA), Luke Combs (USA), Kasey Chambers and Troy Cassar-Daley on the top-notch lineup are festival alumni Michael Ray (USA), Cam (USA) and The Sisterhood Band (USA), along with international first-timers Locash (USA), Frankie Ballard (USA), Carly Pearce (USA), Devin Dawson (USA), Danielle Bradbery (USA), Ashley McBryde (USA), Brandy Clark (USA) and Lindsay Ell (CAN).

Rounding out 2019’s superb roster are Morgan Wallen (USA), Jim Lauderdale (USA), Jedd Hughes, Tenille Townes (USA), Noah Schnacky (USA) and Home Free (USA) plus local favourites Aleyce Simmonds, Imogen Clark, Melanie Dyer and Oakwood.

CMC Rocks will be the only chance for country music lovers to catch all of these sensational international and local artists live, across 4-days of non-stop action in 2019! So that celebrations can well and truly kick off, C Camp Ground will open to campers a day early; campers in C Camp Ground will be able to get in and set up from 12 noon on Wednesday 13thMarch. Campers in A and B Camp Grounds and the brand new OZtrail Inn will be able to enter from 9am on Thursday 14th March, with an extended festival program exclusively for campers beginning at 1pm at the Jack Daniel’s White Rabbit Saloon. The festival Main Stage will open at 11:45am on Friday, to get the official party started!

CMC Rocks has over the years hosted world-class sets from international music icons like Tim McGraw, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson to Lady Antebellum, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks and Little Big Town. Complemented each year by an array of Australia’s most prolific stars and exciting up-and-comers, including Lee Kernaghan, Travis Collins, The McClymonts, Morgan Evans, Busby Marou and more, CMC Rocks never fails to deliver the very best of country music to local music fans.
