Imagine this… A music festival, featuring all your favourite artists, spread across just two specially curated stages, topped off with a timetable where clashes are near non-existent. It ain’t a dream, it’s Fairgrounds 2017!
Forget the fateful mid-set clash dash, our SET TIMES are in!
With spectacular performances going down from the likes of Future Islands, Gang of Youths and The Shins at our Main Stage, and stripped back sets taking place in between on the Windmill Stage, you’ll be ticking off your artist wish-list in no time at all, and conserving energy for the myriad cool stuff happening around the festival.
Cool stuff you say? Fairgrounds’ Record Club returns in 2017 and is the ultimate way to interact with music lovers and artists alike. Across two RSVP-only sessions, punters will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Gang of Youths’ David Le’Aupepe and Marlon Williams. Join an intimate conversation with the artists themselves as they discuss one hand-picked record that changed their life.
It all goes down on Saturday 9 December. Attendance is free for Fairgrounds ticketholders, but you’ll need to sign up to the news letter to receive an exclusive invitation to RSVP.

There’s plenty more to see, do and indulge in during band breaks! Whether you’re taking the ankle biters to artist book readings in Little Fairgrounds, challenging mates at Games on the Green, blowing dust off long lost LPs at the Record Fair or chowing down at the Fairgrounds Markets.
Still hungry? The renowned Paperbark Camp Restaurant will be open for business and are taking bookings for their ever-popular, long-table dining experience. Spots are getting snapped up quickly, and with limited seating available it’s best to BOOK NOW.
When you’re all tuckered out, shack up in one of our awesome campgrounds. Head to the beautiful Rivercamp, situated alongside a scenic woodland riverbank with complimentary shuttle to and from Fairgrounds. Whether you’re opting for a BYO or a pre-pitched option, spots are selling fast so nab one now.
Or pop in to the Fairgrounds Pop Up Hotel, just a short stroll from the Main Stage. Guests not only get dibs on an exclusive carpark and a pre-assembled tent with all the essentials, they’ll also receive a complimentary brekkie by Paperbark Camp Restaurant and exclusive access to the cute as heck Fairgrounds swimming pool.
