Following an incredible response to her Australian and NZ headline tour announcement, Melbourne based multi-talented, singer, songwriter and performer G Flip is thrilled to reveal a new under 18’s show taking place in Melbourne on Saturday, September 22 at Northcote Social Club.
G Flip (Georgia Flipo) says: “Before I was playing my own tunes on stage I was teaching kids drums, piano and guitar for years. I’m stoked to be playing an Under 18’s show in my hometown of Melbourne! It’s important to inspire the young ones just like my drum teacher Jenny inspired me! LETS ROLL”
Since sharing a string of headline dates for what was already her biggest AU/NZ tour to date, G Flip has sold out a total of eight shows in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. On tour, she’ll be accompanied by a slew of local female talent including Feels, Maribelle, San Mei and Erthlings, as well as electro-pop duo Holiday Party, Bloods, W.M.N and current Unearthed High finalist Yergul.
A whirlwind start to the year, G Flip has followed a non-stop schedule since uploading her debut single ‘About You’ to triple j Unearthed. Amassing enormous global attention, she has since played showcases at The Great Escape and SXSW, a sold out debut Australian headline tour, a string of UK summer dates, support slots with Superorganism and Pale Waves, and recently smashed her Splendour in the Grass debut. In October, she will head overseas to play a number of UK and EU dates and perform at Pitchfork Festival Paris.
