In celebration of Gang Of Youths’ new live album MTV UNPLUGGED LIVE IN MELBOURNE, Event Cinemas will be hosting an exclusive, one-off screening of their captivating MTV Unplugged performance. Taking place at George St, Event Cinemas in Sydney on Friday 26th October, three-hundred lucky fans will get the chance to attend this special VMAX event.

Earlier this year it was announced that MTV Australia will produce all-new episodes of the Grammy and Emmy award-winning series MTV Unplugged, featuring Gang Of Youths as it’s first featured artist. Filmed in front of a live audience at Melbourne’s Cobblestone Pavilion at Meat Market, the band performed stripped-back versions of songs from their latest album, 2017’s GO FARTHER IN LIGHTNESS.
The band has already released two tracks from the album “Fear and Trembling” from their 2017 Award-winning album GO FARTHER IN LIGHTNESS, and “Still Unbeaten Life” from the 2016 EP LET ME BE CLEAR. Check them out below!

Following a stellar performance at the 2018 NRL Grand Final, Gang Of Youths are currently in the US supporting the Foo Fighters on their Concrete and Gold Tour 2018. The band will then return home for their completely sold out, record-breaking ‘Say Yes To Life’ Tour. The band was also recently announced as headline act for St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2019.
