All eyes are on JUICE WRLD. The genre-defying 19-year-old rapper from the suburbs of Chicago has today announced two massive headline shows for Sydney and Melbourne this January, while in the country for Falls Festival – playing the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on January 4 and The Forum in Melbourne on January 5 joined by special guest, The Kid Laroi.

Since releasing his debut album “Goodbye & Good Riddance” in May, the Chicago rapper has continued to nab headlines throughout the year; knocking Drake and Kanye West off the top spot on Spotify, scoring a number of solid features with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, and some epic freestyles to boot.
Juice WRLD got his start like many of his current contemporaries – on Soundcloud. Having listed everything from rock to Chicago’s drill scene as influences, what he’s creating is a progressive combination of sounds and styles perfectly suited for 2018 and beyond.

“I like all types of music. It could change up so quickly, I could be listening to Foo Fighters and then switch up and turn on my favorite Sosa mixtape.” – JUICE WRLD

These are the qualities that many current artists reach for, but Juice WRLD is making it sound so genuine, and his unique combination of skills come together on songs like ‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘All Girls Are The Same’. He’s already exploded on Soundcloud with millions of plays per song, and despite only beginning to make his music available on major streaming platforms since March, has already clocked over a billion streams.
Things really started to sizzle in 2017 when his tune ‘Lucid Dreams’ began heating up, plus the fact that he’s about to drop a blockbuster collaboration with Future including the single ‘WRLD ON Drugs’ (also featuring a couple of blokes you might know named Young Thug and Lil Wayne).
.
. . . . . . . .Joining Juice WRLD at both shows is South Sydney hip-hop sensation The Kid Laroi, a Top 5 Finalist of triple j Unearthed’s 2018 “Unearthed High” competition. At only 14-years-old the Sydney emcee completely wowed judges with his track ‘Disconnect’ – a slice of modern trap, layered with deep synths, shadowy and 100% forbidden. His track ‘NONSTOP (Freestyle)’ and debut EP “14 With A Dream” quickly followed and just days ago teased more new music with an Instagram post featuring American rapper Lil Skies.
Juice WRLD’s two headline shows will be one of Australia’s first chances to catch one of the hottest artists on the planet right now. Live, up close and personal.
