LIME CORDIALE
premiere music video for track
‘NATURALLY’

“Louis and Oli Leimbach, better known as Lime Cordiale, are on a red-hot streak. The 80’s flavoured clip includes one of the most confronting 3-way makeout scenes we’ve ever seen.”

Lime Cordiale have built up a formidable reputation the past few years for their tongue-in-cheek music videos and their Lime TV episodes hosted on YouTube. Keeping true to their reputation, the band premiered their music video for “Naturally” via Life Without Andy.
Brothers, Oli and Louis Leimbach play two friends O Jay and Stanley from the 80’s who are taken aback by a stunning leggy-blonde named Stacey on Whale Beach, NSW. With neither able to seal the deal on the shore, Stacey hands the pair a poster of an upcoming Lime Cordiale show that night. The rest we’ll leave with you; there will be tongue.

.
Oli describes the clip as “featuring two wanna-be hot shot studs who are overly confident in themselves, oblivious to the fact they are losers. They spend their days applying tanning oil, man-scaping and picking up chicks. Well, attempting to pick up ‘chicks’.”
Stacey (played by their good friend Tommy Austin) has appeared in many of Lime Cordiale’s clips over the years, but you might recognise him best from their latest album promo video(which was also directed, shot and edited by Jack Shepherd), where Tommy plays a man with a “gold member” (that’s actually the band’s album). Jack noted “we shaved his entire body in the boys [Oli & Louis’] house, then got out the fake tan and hit the beach.”
Jack Shepherd is also currently on the road producing a series of short documentary pieces with Lime Cordiale on their ‘Permanent Vacation Tour’. Having already released Part 1, Part 2shows off some intimate moments behind the scenes with the band in Western Australia. More parts will follow as the band play the remaining tour dates around the country.

The Sydney based band have been thrilled with the various accolades received on their debut album PERMANENT VACATION. They deservingly came in #1 on the AIR 100% Independent Australian Albums chart, while debuting #15 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart. Lime Cordiale also hit #7 on US College Radio, #61 on the North American College & Community charts and scored #2 on the Independent Labels Australian Albums chart.
