MESA COSA
Announce National Tour Dates
+ Upcoming Album ‘EL ES DEMONS’ Out November

This year Mesa Cosa has raised the devil, they’ve started their own underground snake worshipping cult, they pronounced their love of blood AND brains, they even started a big fire. Now Melbourne’s five (sometimes six, sometimes seven) headed hydra Mesa Cosa are ready to release a new album and tour its contents while spreading their message of occult celebration throughout Australia and Japan.
Don’t fear the wizard, ‘El Es Demons’ is a 12-track 45 minute trip into some of the finest music ever produced on this world, nay indeed, the underworld. In the words of Def Leppard‘s Phil Collen taken from the Def Leppard Hysteria 30th Anniversary documentary: ‘If they can put a man on the moon, they can fit 45 minutes of music onto a vinyl record, what with the new technology and all that’.
.
“They said we couldn’t fit it all in one vinyl, WE JUST LOWERED THE AUDIO QUALITY“
– Mesa Cosa
.
Still fatigued from the unexpected success of their first two sold out releases, Mesa Cosa managed to find the inspiration in the hum drum of catching the 86 tram and thinking about what would happen if everyone in it were suddenly sucked into a giant satanic wormhole upon which there is no return. ‘Satanic songs from the 86’ (Working title) will be the accompanying folk-punk acoustic release no one is waiting for.
Recorded by Nao Anzai and mixed by Stu Mckenzie from King Googly Eggs and the Googly Boys, the record includes what are sure to become timeless classics such as ‘Ghostdog’ a song about a dead dog that becomes a dead ghost, and ‘No Return’ celebrating the life and times of Thelma and indeed, Louise, Mesa Cosa have created an album that will live on throughout the ages.
Launched on November 1st, the record comes with a printed black and white cover and a black vinyl with a black sleeve for which they paid $30 extra from the satanic print shop of doom that is pressing this abomination.
.
.
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE… Mesa Cosa will be heading to Japan in October taking their famous Halloween celebrations around the world.
With shows all across Australia in November this is a party and a record you cannot afford to miss. Because tickets are only $12 pre sale, and the records come in discount bundles.
