MITCH KING
Set To Release New Single
‘BURNING’
.
.
For anyone who has been fortunate to witness Roots artist Mitch King perform know that they are in for a rare treat. His talent is soulful, heartfelt and pure.
Mitch spent the first half of the year touring nationally before grabbing his guitar and writing his new single ‘Burning’. Spending time on the road living out of his van creates incredible inspiration and this track is refreshing with its hauntingly beautiful harmonies and emotionally driven lyrics. It is destined to be a banger!
.
“Recording ‘Burning’ was the most enjoyable experience I’ve had in the studio so far. It was a whole lot of fun working together with Blake Malone and I felt my passion, as an Artist was equalled by his passion as a Producer. I’m very content with this track and it’s an accurate interpretation of my thoughts at the moment. We’ve brought new ideas to the table and I’m chuffed with the way this one’s turned out.”
.
2017 has been an extraordinary year for Mitch, as he continued to tour the country bringing his unique Multi-Instrumentalist Roots sound to festivals and venues throughout Australia. From SOLD OUT Australian Headlining Shows to performing both internationally and nationally at prime events such as St Kilda Festival, Byron Bay Bluesfest and Blues on Broadbeach proves that Mitch’s career is certainly on the rise.
Past accolades include being crowned ‘Hottest New Act’ at the popular St Kilda Festival and Winner of the 2016 Tamworth Country Music Festival Busking Championships have cemented him as one of Australia’s exciting new talents.
To celebrate the new release, Mitch will embark on an extensive National Tour throughout September and October.
