Arnalds is renowned for his markedly unique sound which he produces by mixing strings and piano with loops and edgy beats and fusing electronica, ambient and pop. His highly anticipated record RE:MEMBER features his new ground-breaking software Stratus , which transforms the humble piano into a unique new instrument. The custom built software is born out of two years of work by the composer and audio developer Halldór E ldjârn , and are the centrepiece of Arnalds ’ new works.

Internationally celebrated for his haunting musical style, Arnalds combines elements of ambient, classical, electronic and even pop and rock. The upcoming release of his fourth ‘official’ album RE:MEMBER f ollows the success of his innovative musical project ISLAND SONGS (2016), two previous improvised projects FOUND SONGS (2009) and LIVING ROOM MUSIC (2011) and his extensive soundtrack work for ITV’s Broadchurch , for which he won a BAFTA for Best Original Music (2014).
