Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Sky News are joining forces for an exciting new initiative; PAUL MURRAY ‘LIVE Our Town’; which will see Sky News’ number one show visit regional locations across Australia throughout 2019. Sony Music’s diverse roster of artists will feature throughout the series; with some of the country’s biggest music stars joining PAUL MURRAY in each regional town.
PAUL MURRAY ‘LIVE Our Town’ will see the number one Sky News program and its host PAUL MURRAY visit ten regional locations in ten months, celebrating the uniqueness of each town; whilst hearing from residents about the issues and challenges facing Australia’s heartland.
One of Sony Music’s incredible artists will join PAUL MURRAY at each event to perform live and connect with the local residents; allowing their music to create a unique and emotional experience for those living in the heartland of Australia. These special events will aim to bring joy and some much-needed financial help to families in these regional towns.
The first stop on the regional tour is Toowoomba, which will feature acclaimed country-music star ADAM HARVEY. The show will air LIVE on Wednesday 20 February from 9:00pm AEDT on Sky News Live on Foxtel and on regional free-to-air channel Sky News on WIN.
The tour will continue every month with some of the biggest names in Australian music including CONRAD SEWELL, JESSICA MAUBOY, SAMANTHA JADE, DARYL BRAITHWAITE and DAMI IM.
