Have you always wanted to be an artist? When did you get the song writing bug?
I’ve been writing songs forever, but I really started diving into it in middle school; I even performed a song I’d written at our talent show in 6th grade, whether that was a good idea or not is debatable though. 

Briefly describe your journey to date.
Well I started out alone with my guitar, writing because it helped me process my emotions. if I’m stuck in my head, or upset about something, writing is my way to work through it and figure out how I’m going to deal with it. that just evolved into putting those songs out into the world, which I couldn’t be more grateful for. 

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
I’d say my sound is very indie/bedroom pop, and I think people resonate with my music because I’m not afraid to be vulnerable, my songs are like my diary. 

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today? 
100% Taylor Swift. I am a massive massive swiftie for not only her songwriting and performance skills but also her as a person.

Your new EP will soon be released! Describe its origin and evolution. 
This EP is really a concept project, every song on it represents a different struggle of growing up and figuring out who you are so it’s super meaningful to me. I wrote all of these songs myself in my bedroom and my collaborators really brought it to life. 

What are the signature tracks and which is your favourite to play live?
My favorite song on this project is definitely the opening track ‘better person’. I think it really just sums up a feeling that everyone has at some point in their life, like they’re messing up; and the ending of the song is super important and impactful too. 

Is there an ALBUM on the drawing board?
I mean I’ve written 37 songs lately that I love so who knows!

What tours and events are coming up? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I’m planning to do a virtual tour hopefully this summer! with different dates for different time zones which I’m super excited about. plus when I get back to school I have some showcases lined up.

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why? 
Once again Taylor Swift. I admire her so incredibly much and she truly has inspired me to create the music I make. To do a 3 hour show 2-3 times a week for months on end is crazy and so hard to do, I think her determination and perseverance is something all musical artists should take on. 

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them? 
I just love making music and finding people who resonate with the words I write. I find new fans everyday and I love getting to know them all, thats my favorite part; connection. 

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out? 
To just put your music out there. You truly never know what could happen or who could find and love what you’ve created. yull never know if you don’t try. 

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
Connecting with people. 100%
