How did the band come together? Is there someone who is a “driving force”, or do you all make decisions together?
The band isn’t a band per se. We’re a music production duo; studio rats more than anything.  We reach out to musically minded friends to collaborate here and there but the driving force is us, Eddie and Nic.  It works for us that way.  No waiting around for jam/ recording sessions to happen.  No death by committee.  Just straight into our studio to make records the way we want them to sound.

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
The sound is eclectic.  We have so many musical influences and our process for writing and recording our songs lets us tap into all of those influences. We like experimenting with sound but try to have a focussed approach to each song; a clear theme/ story, aesthetic and intention.  If people are resonating with the songs, we hope it’s the sincerity of the music.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today? 
That’s a hard one as there are so many bands and records that inspire us, but we are now in pre-production for our next record and the influences for that record so far have been the likes of Radiohead, Gorillaz, Stone Roses and Dandy Warhols.

Your new single ‘Get My Groove’ has just been released! Describe its origin and evolution. 
Get My Groove was a bit of a strange one. The song had been fully formed (and sounded nothing like it does now) but we felt it lacked impact and rewrote almost all of the parts one night and that all stuck…

Is there an EP or Album on the drawing board?
There is and we’re finding that process has much more flow and is much more inspiring than the process we had for making the first record – we we’re learning how to make a record from scratch on that one – and think that is really coming through on the current mixes/ arrangements.  Between that and the video clips we’re keeping ourselves really busy so that the art keeps coming.

Any tours or events coming up soon? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
No tours/ shows planned at the moment.  Our current efforts are focussed on the video clips and making the next record.  We are hoping to have a new video out in the coming weeks and a taster of the next record by Christmas.

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why? 
Damon Albarn.  We can only imagine just how fun that recording session would be!

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
We want to continue to express ourselves through music production and develop as producers/ video artists so that we can continue putting out records that hopefully connect with our audience and inspire them to create.

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out? 
Have a clear vision as to what you want to create and never stop.
