Mia Wray, the opening act for Middle Kids put on an amazing show. She performed plenty of her hit songs, such as, “Monster Brain” and “Tell Her”.
Mia Wray engaged with the audience throughout her act, speaking about pride month and how she has had a blast touring with Middle Kids and that she would be sad that it will be coming to an end shortly. Her performance was fantastic. She danced around the stage the entire set like no one was in the room.
Mia and the band had such a strong energy that had the crowd bouncing around. Their set was amazing and very enjoyable seeing everyone dance and sing with Mia and the band.
Middle Kids delivered an amazing performance at the Enmore Theatre on June 7th. Kicking off the night with “Petition” and “Dramamine,” the band and their energy had the audience on their feet and vibrant the entire show.
Middle Kids interacted with their fans frequently throughout the night, speaking with the crowd, speaking about their tour so far and how excited they’re to be back in their hometown! Hannah Joy, lead singer of Middle Kids, pointing her family out to the audience and hyping them up throughout the show.
The band’s engagement with each other on stage was electric. Both guitar players jumping around the stage like no one else is in the room, Hannah Joy singing “Salt Eyes” and the crowd’s liveliness lighting up the venue.
“Highlands” and “Edge of Town”, two of Middle Kids most favoured songs, had the crowd’s enthusiasm unmistakable.
Hannah Joy played “All In My Head” on the piano to the audience. At the time it felt like it was only her in the room and the piano.
Whilst Middle Kids were playing their hit song “Stacking Chairs”, confetti came bursting out of the confetti cannons on both sides of the stage. The confetti added an amazing surprise to the night, the floor covered in confetti pieces as fans danced and felt in the moment.
Middle Kids performed nineteen songs. All had the crowd’s engagement on another level.
The crowd were begging for one more song. Middle Kids came out and did a three song encore. Their last few songs they performed were “Cellophane Brain”, “Never Start” and ending the show with one of their newest songs in their recent album, they played “Bend”.
All amazingly performed and it was a fantastic show from Middle Kids.
