Buckle up because “Bad Habits” by Reckless Coast is a coastal anthem that rides the waves of their pub-rock persona. Picture a beachside bar with a live band cranking out tunes that make you forget your worries and you’ve got this rollicking track that gets the legs moving.

Despite the visceral energy that pumps out the song’s subject matter is a contrast to a hedonistic song. Frontman Jaeden Ogston’s lyrics dive into the messiness of toxic routines, hitting you like a sudden realization after one too many drinks. Produced by Cody McWaters, the track’s arrangement is a sun-soaked blend of surf rock with a smattering of garage. While it’s a foot-stomping good time, you can’t help but sense a hidden depth, a musical undertow waiting to pull you into uncharted waters.

“Bad Habits” is a wild ride, leaving us eager to see where Reckless Coast’s musical mischief takes us next. “Bad Habits” boasts a raucous arrangement that’s tighter than your grandma’s knitting.
