The one and only “Queen of Gen Z”, musical.ly star and rising pop artist Baby Ariel, has unveiled her new song, Gucci On My Body, out now through Baby A Records. Ariel’s latest original track is joined by an entrancing animated lyric video, available to view via her official YouTube channel.
Gucci On My Body follows Baby Ariel’s recent hit single, Perf, which was released alongside a bright and playful companion visual directed by HustleCake (Khalid, Wiz Khalifa feat. Juicy J) and has amassed over 20 million views to date.
Ariel – whose first book, Dreaming Out Loud, arrives this October via Harper Collins – can also be seen starring in her own digital YouTube series, Baby Doll Records, streaming now exclusively via Brat. The new series sees Baby Ariel reprising her hugely popular turn as “Dru” in Brat’s breakthrough series, Chicken Girls.
Baby Ariel began making waves with her own original music with the release of last year’s acclaimed debut single, Aww. The spirited pop track is accompanied by a vibrant companion video – co starring such friends and high profile influencers like Patrick Starr, Arii, Zach Clayton, Daniel Skye and more – which received over 2 million views within 24 hours of its premiere and has now logged a stunning 42 million views via YouTube alone. Aww formally introduced the musical.ly star’s signature pop sound to the masses and proved an instant hit, rising to #6 on Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart as well as #13 on the overall Global Viral 50 chart.
