‘Rock N’ Roll Outlaw’, was recorded at the famed rock ‘n’ roll Alberts studios, produced by the legendary team, Vanda & Young and, released through Albert, Repertoire Records in late 1978. The bands debut album, reviewed as “A dangerous, unpredictable, monster of a record whose power has hardly diminished an ounce in the decades since”. Spawning anthemic songs like ‘Nice Boys’ (Don’t Play Rock ‘n’ Roll), ‘Rock N’ Roll Outlaw’, ‘One Of The Boys’ and, ‘Bad Boy For Love’, this album cemented the band’s foundation for the years to come.
Now, 40 years on, Rose Tattoo are proud to announce their Rock N Roll Outlaw 40th Anniversary tour heading out around Australia in September, October and November. An explosive set will cover the album in its’ entirety and ignite their audiences inner rock child.
Right off the back of their month long, rave review Blood Brothers tour in EU/UK, where they packed the O2 Academy London to the rafters, headlined at Raismes Festival, France and slayed them at Baroeg Open Air, Netherlands, there is no stopping this ‘tour de force’. They hit the ground running on their return and, head straight into rehearsals and their 40th Anniversary Rock N’ Roll Outlaw’ 19 date run across our nation.
Bad Boy, Angry Anderson has recruited the best in the business to lead the assault comprising legendary bass player extraordinaire, Mark Evans of AC/DC fame, iconic guitarist Bob Spencer – The Angels & Skyhooks and, Pete Well’s endorsed, “unbelievably talented maestro of rock mayhem”, Dai Pritchard on slide. Special guests have also been added to show dates including Midnight Alibi, Palace Of The King, TORK and Echo Del Tusker.
