With just under two weeks until the final forest disco is held, today Secret Garden Festival has revealed the very special farewell line up for 2019. Running on 22-23 February the festival has broken with tradition this year, announcing the line up before selling out, but be warned there are only 50 Two Night Disco tickets left.
Heading up the music side of the line up on the Intergalactic Space Partystage are the likes of The Preatures, Genesis Owusu, Ali Barter, Flint Eastwood, Mojo Juju, These New South Whales, and Tia Gostelow. But they couldn’t give away all the details, there will be one very special surprise musical act to be revealed at the festival.
Over on the SG Airlines stage are Imbi The Girl, Murmurmur, Florian, Handsome, Johnny Hunter and more, with Camp Queen Baths featuring favourites such as Brendan Maclean, Brooke Powers, and Rebel Yell.
The Partynon stage will feature sets from Sophiegrophy, Mowgli May and Maribelle (live), plus there’s plenty of goodness over on the Lava’s Paradise, Final Disco Nation and Southern Belles stages.
(In A) State Theatre will have performances from the Dollar Bin Darlings, Magda Szubanski’s and The Oyster Club, whilst there will be dance and pop up performances in all sorts of nooks and crannies of the festival site from the likes of Hooping Harlet, Whipper Sisters, Lupa Howl & The She-Wolves.
Covering all aspects of this beloved festival from music to theatre to art to food, the line up is accompanied by a raft of interactive experiences such as a F$!# Off Fancy Dress Parade and competition, airport check in, applause audience, kissing booth, Speed Mating, and much much more. Art is a feature throughout the festival site with a slew of renowned and cutting edge artists on board this year.
What started out as a made for mates festival, Secret Garden Festival has grown into a much-loved, award-winning, year-on-year sell out event. For years Secret Garden has forged uncharted territory by hosting an experiential festival (punters participate rather than spectate) and selling out each year before announcing a line up; making it the only one of its kind in Australia.
