The Pinheads twitch into 2019 with a new single, ‘Innocent Crime’, the leisurelier paced, trance inducing follow up to the steadfast, shady, beguiling slice of pop perfection of its predecessor, ‘Not Like You’!
Don’t let the laid back sonics fool you, ‘Innocent Crime’ is a tale of the anger and dissatisfaction surrounding our repressive reality, written from the heartland of Australia’s unabashed Nanny State, we lookin’ at you NSW! A call to arms to all those on the fringes, to rise up and spit in the face of leaderless leadership and find a better way…’ us the little people, they put holes in our heads, were gonna fill em with hope and let it spread. Us the little people with hope in our heads, are gonna spit it right back at the living dead.’
‘Innocent Crime’ emits a new born confidence from The Pinheads, both as songwriters and performers. Born from a landscape where they find themselves looking down a dead-end street, gathering an army of the disenfranchised to stand as one.

Byron three-piece pop punk outfit Wash, fronted by Creed McTaggart (bass, vocals), Ellis Erickson (guitar) and Beau Foster (drums) will be joining their mates on the road for all shows, with Gold Coast garage punks Gee Tee opening at the Northern and Shark Bar. Garage rock two-piece Los Pintar join for the Cambridge, Sydney guitar pop heroes Lose Fit play the Landsdowne, and Melbourne synth punks Rhysics tail at Karova and The Tote. Grunge revamped, Sydney’s Blistar will hit all shows at the back end, Hobart, Adelaide, Bunbury, Freo and Perth!
