Today marks the release of South Coast rockers The VANNS third EP SHAKE THE HAND THAT PICKS THE FIGHT, along with the thrilling announcement that they’ll be hitting the road on a national tour, hitting up Aussie cities in Tassie, Queensland, Victoria and their hometown state of NSW.
With new EP SHAKE THE HAND THAT PICKS THE FIGHT, and recently released new single “Harder to Find”, the band are chomping at the bit to perform their new tunes. With their relentless touring across Australia, that included gracing the stages of some impressive festivals (Party In The Paddock, Yours and Owls), the band have won over a multitude of fans with their rambunctious live energy. “Shake The Hand That Picks The Fight’ is our 3rd EP release as a band. We wrote the tunes fairly quickly after finishing our last national tour of Australia. During the writing process we adopted our best mate, Guitar/Keys player Cameron Little, as the fourth member. We experimented a bit with our sound to further head towards the direction we’ve always wanted, an in your face, tight 4 piece rock band. The songs were inspired about us being good mates, girls, life on the road & booze. We’re currently writing our debut album at the moment, so we wanted to give a small taste of what the album could sound like with tracks like ‘Harder To Find’ & ‘Skinny Legs’” – JIMMY VANN
