Tyde says: “This EP means the world to me. The fact that I can call this body of music my debut release makes me so happy because these songs are my brain laid out on a page. These three songs are about different relationships/crushes I have had. Dealing with unrequited love in Sober, raw lust in Goldchains and utterly falling in love with no hope for anything else in Champagne. What draws me to any song is how I feel when I listen to it, and I hope that this music can bring a whole array of emotions and feelings to the listener.”

Tyde worked with renowned songwriter Daniel Johns and Sydney-based avant-pop duo Cosmo’s Midnight to create the EP. The release is brimming with emotional candour as Tyde sings about love, heartbreak and adolescence through each track. His debut offering has been compared to that of an Australian Frank Ocean and has captured the attention of both The FADER and Paper Magazine.
