RL Grime’s hit track ‘I Wanna Know’ has received a visual translation by director Megan Park (Blackbear, Elohim.) Led by Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Daya, the video is a celebration of female empowerment. The track is the first single from RL Grime’s upcoming album, NOVA, and marks his first Top 10 US Dance Radio Record. ‘I Wanna Know’ has amassed over 14 million plays globally to date, and broke at 1# on iTunes Electronic in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

Featured on the prestigious Forbes’ 30 Under 30 music list in 2017 and nabbing a Grammy for her smash collaboration with The Chainsmokers ‘Don’t Let Me Down,’ 18-year old Daya’s vocals take RL’s thunderous production into new territory. Of the video, Daya says, “I love the angle that Megan took on the messaging of the song; she took the desperation and hopelessness of the lyrics and spun them into more of an empowering feel through the gathering of supportive females in the space. Between that and the obvious late 90s/early 2000s references in the wardrobe and props, I think it was the most colorful and exciting shoot I’ve done to date. Excited for the world to see <3”

Releasing instrumentals ‘Reims’ and ‘Era’, ‘I Wanna Know’ follows last year’s official single ‘Stay For It’ ft. Miguel. Showcasing RL’s new cinematic direction alongside Miguel’s ravishing vocals, the track has been streamed over 9 million times and reached #169 in triple j’s Hottest 200. The single was followed by his biggest Australian & NZ headline tour to date, selling out multiple venues across the country, including Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.

First coming to prominence as a teenager delivering monster remixes of Chief Keef’s ‘Love Sosa’ and Kanye West’s ‘Mercy,’ his groundbreaking debut album Voids, was released independently in 2014 to rave reviews around the world. RL Grime has accumulated over 100 million plays on his tracks, with over 10 million alone on his 2014 massive What So Not collaboration ‘Tell Me.’ A live phenomenon, the producer’s show has graced the biggest festival stages in the world including Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza and our very own Splendour In The Grass.  Set to release his album in 2018, RL Grime continues to conquer the electronic space with each release, a testament to his unique identity and sound.
